Actresss Tiffany Hsu (許瑋甯) claims she will stand by her man, Ethan Ruan (阮經天), and wants to tell the whole world how much she loves him.

Actor Ethan has started his mandatory military service in Taiwan.

Tiffany threw him a farewell party the night before he left but didn’t send him off on the day.

Now she has left a message on her microblog, at 4am, saying: “There are always people who cannot stay together until the end. There are too many choices and too much greed. The reason behind persistence is a calm heart. You’re my stability. People are torn apart because of their surroundings, but no matter how chaotic the surrounding may be, you complete me,” the actress wrote.

Tiffany spoiled it all the next day by telling reporters, “I wasn’t talking about (Ethan).”

G-cup model Yu Ting (羽庭), dubbed the “Queen of Naked Body Doubles,” saw her popularity soar after she released her first sexy photo book in August 2011.

Three of comedian Guo Degang’s (郭德纲) “disciples” have been given administrative detentions and fines of just 500 yuan ($80) for beating-up a photographer in January.

Administrative detention is arrest and detention of individuals by the State without trial, usually for security reasons.

They assaulted Huang Liang (黄亮), a photographer at Fengxing Studio, who was taking snaps of Degang and his wife at Beijing Capital International Airport. 

Huang and his driver were treated for their injuries at hospital.

Degang claimed he did not see the incident and besides which the assailants were “part-time” luggage and props carriers for his company, who were summarily fired.

Not true as it turned out, as one of them was his agent Wang Hai (王海) and the others were full-time employees.

The trio have paid their fines but are appealing their jail sentences.

Tourists are complaining they were forced to pay exorbitant prices when they vacationed in Sanya, Hainan province, during the Chinese New Year holidays.

One netizen, surnamed Gao, said they were charged over 4,000 yuan ($650) for a three course meal.

He also witnessed one consumer pointing to a fish in a tank, at which point the restaurant owner immediately fished it out, hit it on the head until it breathed its last and then charged the man more than 6,000 yuan.

Another netizen uploaded a receipt, showing a group of eight people consumed 20kg of seafood and was asked to pay nearly 10,000 yuan.

Sanya has become a favorite tourism destination during the winter. But the lack of effective laws and regulations has led to hotels and restaurants charging sky-high prices in the peak season.

Facing an avalanche of criticism, the secretary of Sanya Municipal Party Committee Jiang Sixian (姜斯宪) apologized during a press conference, saying the government would severely punish cheating merchants and clean up the tourism market.

Actor Zhang Mo (张默) was sent down for 13 days of detention on Wednesday after he was caught smoking marijuana.

The son of actor Zhang Guoli (张国立) had been shooting director Feng Xiaogang’s (冯小刚) new film Looking Back to 1942 (温故1942), in Shanxi province.

“I feel very sad about this, and feel responsible for Zhang Mo, like an uncle. I failed to keep him in line and I’m apologizing to the public, together with his father,” the director said on his microblog.

Zhang Guoli claimed to be surprised that his son was on drugs and asked for the public to pardon his son.

However, this is not the first time his 29-year-old son has caused a load of trouble.

In 2003, Zhang Mo beat up girlfriend Tong Yao (童谣), breaking her nose and leaving her with a bleeding eye.

The elder Zhang settled with Tong out of court and published an apology in newspapers.

Zhang Mo is also famous for provoking reporters and violating traffic rules when driving.
