Even Hollywood star Jackie Chan (成龙) has taken note of the “unusual closeness” between pop singer Wang Lee-hom (王力宏) and classical pianist Li Yundi (李云迪).

He uploaded photos of the two heartthrobs, both holding panda dolls in identical poses, on his microbog on Tuesday.

“I noticed that the public likes to make jokes about these two. Here I am to join the fun too! In fact they are both diligent and talented young men,” Jackie wrote.

Netizens have been calling on Lee-hom and Yundi to “be together.”

Meanwhile, Yundi admitted in a recent media interview that he and Lee-hom are “very good friends” and they always have a lot to talk about when they meet up (cough!cough!)

The pianist said he recently started a “bachelor’s club” with good friends Jaycee Chan (房祖名) and Nicholas Tse (谢霆锋).

Lee-hom is the newest member in the club, he said.
