A sculpture of two pigs having sex in Zhengzhou, Henan province, has caused some consternation.

Officials claim the sculpture is part of a series of 21 cartoon stone artworks that will help transmit the values of perseverance, diligence and even love – in the heads of young children.

However, the pics have gone viral on Sina Weibo and the overwhelming consensus is this is down-and-dirty-doggy-style sexy time for porkers.

The sculptures are thought to have been based on a saucy series of ceramics from a decade ago called “Horrible Pigs.”
