Shu Qi (舒淇) and Stephen Fung (冯德伦) might be rekindling their love as the pair was spotted flying to Tokyo in matching clothes on Sunday.

Shu Qi admitted they did board the same flight from Hong Kong but denied they are an item.

The 36-year-old actress said she was heading for Tokyo to holiday with her mom and two friends; while Stephen was on a work trip.

She stressed that they have known each other for nearly 20 years and thought of each other as family.

However, the two were together for some time when they worked on the film Bishonen (美少年の恋) in 1997.

Rumors of the couple reuniting have flared up a few times since then and they have often appeared at events together.

In April, they were spotted drinking and partying at night clubs in Hong Kong’s Lan Kwai Fong.

Stephen used to be in a relationship with Vivian Hsu (徐若瑄), after Shu Qi introduced them.
