TONY EMBARRASSED BY WIFE’S AFFAIR

Heartthrob Tony Leung (梁朝伟) is once more mired in questions about his celebrity wife Carina Lau‘s (刘嘉玲) rumored affair with a Chinese businessman.
He was quizzed about his Carina’s extracurricular activities on attending the 15th Shanghai International Film Festival, on Sunday.
Carina was seen with tycoon Jing Baifu (景百孚) at Shanghai Airport earlier this month, where the pair was boarding a private jet back to Hong Kong.
Asked whether he was unhappy on learning about the news, Tony looked a bit embarrassed, saying there is no need to feel unhappy.
Our loyal readers will recall that in July 2010, a photo of Carina and Baifu intimately sitting next to each other, with Baifu’s right hand on Carina’s right knee, caused a huge stir.
Baifu is estimated to have assets of 16 billion yuan ($2.5 billion).

I can’t understand why anyone is feeling sorry for Tony. After all, it took him almost 20 years to marry her. I can imagine what she must have felt during those almost 20 years. I am not saying cheating is right but now that they are legally together, maybe they have grown apart. I am sure it’s not hurting Tony. I don’t think he meant to marry her anyway. It’s said he promised his dying father that he would marry her. So, the promise has been kept. He has fulfilled his father’s request and now I guess he feels that he can move on.
