HELL IS OTHER PEOPLE
A VIP customer on China’s largest e-commerce platform Taobao posted so many negative reviews of vendors on the site that one clothing merchant, fed up with the woman’s complaints over an ill-fitting dress, sent her an unmarked package containing a child-sized burial shroud.
It arrived with a threatening message: “You don’t like our clothes? You can go to hell … in them.”
Netizens think the Taobao VIP is either just being whiny, or trying to make a buck in compensation.
Some netizens reckoned, “She got what she asked for.”
Others supported the woman, saying it is the vendors’ responsibility to provide good-quality products.
Taobao has meted out punishments on the merchant by screening searches for 12 days.
