Tech blogger Mai Tian (麦田) has apologized to writer and racing driver Han Han (韩寒).

Mai admitted he did not have evidence suggesting Han did not write his own works.

He had previously claimed Han had a team of ghost writers to help him churn out articles and called him “artificial.”

Han published several articles on his blog to dismiss the aberrant claims.

He also offered cash reward of 20 million yuan ($3.2 million) to anyone who could find the evidence.

Actress Fan Bingbing (范冰冰) threw her support behind Han by offering another 20 million yuan.

Han said he accepted Mai’s apology.
