Andy Lau: No more Mr Nice Guy

Known as “Mr Nice Guy,” Andy Lau (刘德华) has revealed that he actually has a bad temper.
He said he had to forgo his dream of being a film director as his temperament is unsuitable.
“I would scold people if things were not arranged properly, which would ruin my image as a Mr Nice Guy.”
As one of the Best Leading Actor nominees at the upcoming Golden Horse Awards (金馬獎) in Taiwan, Andy said he would attend the ceremony but does not expect to grab a trophy.
“My acting [in A Simple Life (桃姐)] is great. It doesn’t matter whether I win it or not. But I hope the director [Ann Hui (许鞍华)] wins the best director award,” he said.
Andy is now shooting the trendy action film Dwelling in Fuchun Mountains (富春山居图), in China, with Lin Chi-ling (林志玲), Zhang Jingchu (张静初) and Tong Dawei (佟大为).
