However, he and his other actress daughter Kirsten Jen (任容萱) were in the unusual position of refusing to talk about Selina at a charity event on Sunday.

He merely said, with a forced smile that, “There’s no such thing,” after being pressed to comment on recent rumors that Selina’s band mates Hebe Tien (田馥甄) and Ella Chen (陳嘉樺) are angry at Selina’s fiancé Richard Chang (張承中).

The three girls’ 10-year friendship is said to have been shaken to the core by Richard’s interference.

Hebe clarified on Saturday that their relationship will never change.
