Zhao Benshan (赵本山) is thinking of buying another private jet, according to the Civil Aviation Administration of China.

The comic master’s company bought its first Bombardier Challenger 850, worth 200 million yuan (US$30 million), in 2009.

When Benshan and his disciples are not flying to do performances, the private jet is rented out and their huge investment has turned a profit.

The news of a second jet purchase  has been denied by his company, Benmountain Media Group (本山传媒).

However, an industry insider said Benshan previously mentioned at a private function that he might replace the Bombardier Challenger 850 with another business jet that is more suitable, maybe a Boeing or Gulfstream.

But it is unknown when he would make the replacement, the source said.
