Pop diva A-mei (張惠妹) has another star tattoo inked on her left arm to mark the one year anniversary of the end of her love match with basketball player Sam Ho (何守正).

Their “older sister, younger brother love” (姐弟恋) relationship was the most-talked about in the Chinese-speaking pop world for at least a week or so.

A-mei’s manager, however, denied the star-shape tattoo was done to commemorate the love gone bad.

“A tattoo for A-mei is merely a way to vent her emotions,” he added.

Even though A-mei fears the pain of getting an injection when seeing a doctor, she doesn’t seem to be mind being scarified by a tattoo needle.  In fact, she’s obviously addicted.

The 38-year-old singer’s first tattoo was a lion pattern on the back of her waist. She was born in August, a Leo in astrology.

She did the second tattoo, a star, on her right instep when she signed up with Warner Music (華納唱片) in 2001. It was also when she was in love with former manager Brian Chow (周立璟)

The third, her favorite star, was done on her left wrist when she joined EMI Music in 2007.

The fourth, yet another star, was tattooed behind her left ear in 2009, when she released her self-titled album Amit (阿密特).
