Maybe we shouldn’t be surprised to learn that Edison Chen (陈冠希) has wrapped up a deal with Lady Gaga to tour China, Hong Kong and Taiwan?

True, after his sex scandal, he lost more than just face.

His fan base largely deserted him and two years later no one is keen to see him sing or act any more.

But you can’t deny he’s a player.

And his list of celebrity friends and contacts is huge. I mean he’s had sex with half of them!

Not only that but he swings both ways, in that he has showbiz friends in the United States too.

So, his hookup with HK tycoon Peter Lam (林建岳) and “old friend” Lady Gaga is a match made in heaven.

You have to give Edison credit. If he can’t be center stage he’s going to pull the strings behind the scenes.

And you can bet your bottom Hong Kong dollar he will be basking in the reflected glory of Gaga when she does come East.
