Barbie Hsu (徐熙媛, aka Big S) and her multi-millionaire fiancé Wang Xiaofei (汪小菲) are getting married in Sanya, Hainan province, on March 27 next year.

As Xiaofei is planning to open a high-end hotel on the tropical island, dubbed “Hawaii of the East,” the wedding is guaranteed to boost the retreat’s popularity.

It was previously reported their grand wedding(s) would be held in Beijing, Shanghai and Taipei.

Xiaofei’s mother, Zhang Lan (张兰), declined to confirm the news on Thursday, saying “I don’t know. It’s a personal question. You ask them.”

Barbie’s assistant said they had not received the information.

Xiaofei established a real estate development company at the end of last year and serves as the chairman. The Sanya hotel will be the company’s first project.
