SHE is an interesting girls group.

The combination of two sweet-looking girls, Hebe Tien (田馥甄) and Selina Jen (任家萱), as well as a tomboy-type Ella Chen (陳嘉樺), is designed to attract as many fans as possible — both male, female and inbetween.

We always think of the short-haired Ella, who talks and dresses like a boy, as if she is a 99.9% lesbian. But it turns out that Ella’s life is packed with dates with the opposite sex.

She is rumored to have been seeing a number of good-looking men, including actor Jerry Yan (言承旭), actor Baron Chen (陳楚河), model Jerry Huang (黃志瑋) and singer Wu Chun (吳尊). Her relationship with musician Josh Chen (陳熙) was short-lived and her recent boyfriend Tommy Chao (趙士懿) was found cheating on her.

We truly wish the outgoing Ella could find her Mr Right soon.

Talking about Mr Right, the harmless-looking Hebe was grilled by reporters about her relationships — in particular her sexual preferences — at the Monday press conference to launch her first solo album To Hebe.

Facing the media alone for the first time, Hebe was nervous and suddenly forgot how to evade sensitive questions.

She admitted that she has had five to six relationships. But when asked if there were males among her past relationships, she answered, “Let me think about it for a while,” hinting at the likelihood she has had lesbian relationships.

The 27-year-old was photographed in 2005 behaving intimately with a female friend, known as A-peng (阿膨), who held Hebe’s waist tight and even played around with the back of her bra just like any other couple.

As A-peng is widely known to be a lesbian in the entertainment industry, rumors of the singer loving women then surfaced.

Hebe’s other rumored “girlfriend” is Chung Ruo-han (鐘若涵), formerly an assistant to singer Jay Chou (周杰倫). Jay and Hebe were supposed to be in love in 2006 but the relationship terminated at the end of the year because of Ruo-han. Feeling betrayed, Jay fired his assistant.

On the other hand it could be that Hebe swings both ways, as her rumored boyfriends include SHE’s former agent A-du (阿嘟) and actor-turned-director Doze Niu (鈕承澤).

Either way, it’s undeniable they have sex appeal for everyone
