Hong Kong singer Leon Lai (黎明) and his wife Gaile Lok (乐基儿) are teetering on the edge of divorce – though typically they haven’t formally announced they married.

"What does he see in her?" Helloooo!!!!

This is common among Chinese celebrities, who fear they will become less popular if they are seen as “unavailable.”

The couple is said to have married in Las Vegas, in March 2008.

Recently, however, the pair has been falling out over work.

After Gaile, a 30-year-old model, earlier this year joined the agency Amusic, which Leon co-owns, she fell out with the creative director.

She is also said to have fired a public relations executive soon after settling in behind her desk.

Leon, one of the “Four Heavenly Kings,” is a bit of a control freak and was said to have been unhappy about his wife’s business decisions.

As a result there were frequent battles in the boardroom between the two.

Gaile, who’s obviously not feeling the love, reportedly refused to get pregnant and said, “In the worst-case scenario we might just get divorced.”
