The ABC (American-born-Chinese) singer’s wish fulfillment exercise with his film Love in Disguise (戀愛通告) – previously called Love Announcement — will be released on Aug 12.

The 34 year old reckons it’s “really not bad.”

It’s about a superstar at a music school who disguises himself to win the hand of the woman he loves.

Autobiographical? Partly.

Wang studied for years at Williams College and Berklee College of Music in the US. And he is a superstar.

Lee-hom admitted that in real life he also wore disguises and had wigs and beards at home.

He also admitted that he sometimes wore makeup when he went on dates.

Which is kinda odd when you think about it.

Would he hit a journalist?

“No, I wouldn’t do that,” he said. “That’s what they want so they can get the next day’s headline. That would be like letting them win.”
