Cecilia Cheung (張柏芝) gave birth to a boy by Caesarean section yesterday, according to Hong Kong newspaper reports quoted by iFensi.com.

Nicholas Tse‘s (谢霆锋) father, however, has denied the reports and said the baby is due next month.

Patrick Tse (谢贤) said Cheung and Nicholas Tse were, in fact, resting at home and that son Lucas has been showing a keen interest in being a big brother.

Patrick added that Lucas was a little showbiz king already and the paparazzi loved him.

The three year old has been snapped on a number of occasions, but there have been divergent opinions about who he looks like most — dad or Edison Chen (陈冠希).

Commentators and forums have been buzzing with gossip that Lucas looks a lot like the baby Chen.

“His eyes are like Edison’s; his nose is definitely Cecilia’s,” opined entertainment portal nownews.com. “Lucas is a handsome boy and he’s gonna grow up to have the best of Edison and Cecilia.”

It’s a cruel but fair assumption, since Cheung and Chen were seeing each other just over four years ago.

Cheung and a host of other stars were exposed as Chen’s lovers when the contents of his hard drive were made public two years ago.
